Geneglace F90 Flake Ice Machine

• Preserving fresh fish and seafood in retail and processing environments.
• Cooling produce during harvesting, transport, and storage.
• Maintaining product temperature in bakeries and dough production.
• Chilling chemicals and pharmaceuticals in industrial processes.
• Providing ice for catering and event services.

Ice Production Capacity

The Geneglace F90 model typically produces up to 900 kg of flake ice per 24 hours, depending on ambient and water temperatures.

Ice Type

Generates sub-cooled flake ice, known for its large contact surface and gentle cooling properties.

Refrigerant Type

Units of this type commonly operate with standard industrial refrigerants, such as R404A or R507, though specific units may vary.

Power Supply

Typically requires a 3-phase electrical supply, commonly 400V/50Hz for the UK market, with specific amperage requirements depending on the compressor and condenser configuration.

Cooling Method

This unit is listed 'without condenser', meaning it requires an external air-cooled or water-cooled condensing unit to operate.

Evaporator Material

The ice-making evaporator barrel is typically constructed from stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

• What does 'without condenser' mean for this listing?

This means the unit is the ice generator part only. It requires a separate condensing unit (compressor and condenser coil) to be connected to complete the refrigeration system and produce ice. This allows for flexibility in condenser placement.

• Can this unit be supplied with a new condenser?

• What are the typical installation requirements for a Geneglace F90?

• Is flake ice suitable for all applications?

• What maintenance is typically required for a flake ice machine?

• What is the typical footprint of a Geneglace F90 ice generator?

Cold rooms and refrigeration units are considered essential assets in food processing operations. Buyers typically prioritise reliability, energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance when selecting used models. Industry sentiment favours equipment from reputable manufacturers known for durability. Key considerations include checking refrigerant systems, insulation condition, and temperature consistency. Well-maintained units often deliver strong performance at reduced cost compared to new alternatives, making them attractive for budget-conscious operations seeking dependable temperature control.
