• Pharmaceutical and laboratory settings for sterilising glassware and instruments.
• Hotels and institutional kitchens requiring high-volume dishwashing capabilities.

Typical capacity

For this class of equipment, throughput typically ranges from 500 to over 2000 plates per hour, or equivalent volumes of other items.

Power supply

Commonly found on units of this type is a 3-phase electrical supply, typically 400V, 50Hz, with varying power consumption depending on heating elements and pump sizes.

Water consumption

Industrial units typically feature efficient water usage, often recirculating wash water, with fresh rinse water consumption commonly ranging from 2 to 5 litres per rack.

Wash cycles

Multiple wash cycles are usually available, ranging from short rinse cycles to intensive wash and sanitise programmes, typically between 1 to 10 minutes.

Construction material

Units are typically constructed from stainless steel (e.g., AISI 304 or 316) for hygiene, durability, and corrosion resistance.

Heating method

Water heating is commonly electric, though some larger units may offer steam or gas heating options for efficiency.
