Nowicki 2000ltr Vacuum Tumbler

• Marinating and tenderising meat products such as poultry, pork, and beef.
• Mixing and coating various food items, including salads and snacks.
• Curing and brining processes for ham, bacon, and other processed meats.
• Improving protein extraction and binding in restructured meat products.
• Massaging seafood to enhance texture and absorption of marinades.

Capacity

This unit is specified at 2000 litres. For this class of equipment, capacities typically range from 500 litres to over 5000 litres.

Vacuum facility

Commonly found on units of this type, the vacuum feature aids in product absorption and tenderisation.

Loader

Units of this size typically include an integrated or separate loader for efficient product transfer.

Construction material

Almost universally, food processing tumblers are constructed from stainless steel for hygiene and durability.

Power supply

For industrial equipment of this scale, a 3-phase electrical supply (e.g., 400V, 50Hz) is typically required.

Footprint

A 2000-litre tumbler will require a significant operational footprint, typically several square metres, plus space for loading/unloading.

Control system

Modern vacuum tumblers commonly feature programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for precise process control.

• What are the benefits of a vacuum tumbler over a standard mixer?

Vacuum tumblers enhance product absorption, reduce processing times, and improve product texture by opening up muscle fibres. The vacuum also helps to remove air, which can extend shelf life and improve appearance.

• Is this unit suitable for both wet and dry applications?

• What kind of maintenance is typically required for a vacuum tumbler?

• Can the tumbling speed and vacuum level be adjusted?

• What safety features should I expect on a used vacuum tumbler?

Meat and poultry tumblers and massagers are valued for their consistent ability to enhance product texture and marinade absorption across commercial production. Buyers typically report reliable performance when used regularly, though condition of internal drums and seals warrants careful inspection on used units. Key strengths include labour savings and uniform results compared to manual methods. When purchasing secondhand, check motor function, drum integrity, and whether all safety guards remain intact. Stainless steel models tend to hold up better in demanding environments.
