Gothot 90Kg Coffee Roaster

• Commercial coffee roasting operations requiring medium to large batch production.
• Speciality coffee businesses expanding their roasting capacity.
• Coffee importers and distributors performing in-house roasting.
• Food and beverage manufacturers producing coffee-based products.

Typical capacity

Units of this class are designed for approximately 90kg per batch, allowing for significant throughput.

Power supply

Commercial roasters typically require a robust three-phase electrical supply, often 400V, for heating elements and motor operation.

Heating method

Gothot roasters commonly utilise gas (natural gas or LPG) for the roasting process, offering precise temperature control.

Cooling system

Integrated cooling trays and fans are standard for rapidly cooling roasted beans to prevent over-roasting.

Construction material

Typically constructed from durable materials such as cast iron and stainless steel for longevity and heat retention.

Control system

Units commonly feature manual or semi-automatic controls for drum speed, airflow, and temperature, with some models offering profile roasting capabilities.

Exhaust requirements

Requires connection to an appropriate exhaust system and often a chaff collector to manage smoke and by-products.

• What is the typical footprint of a 90kg coffee roaster?

The footprint for a 90kg roaster can vary, but buyers should anticipate a significant floor area, typically several square metres, plus space for maintenance and bean handling.

• Are spare parts readily available for Gothot roasters?

• What utilities are required to operate this type of roaster?

• What level of maintenance does a used Gothot roaster require?

• Can this roaster be adapted for different bean types?

Used roasters are valued for their durability and cost effectiveness in food processing operations. Buyers typically prioritise even heat distribution, temperature control consistency, and robust construction when selecting secondhand units. Industry sentiment favours roasters from established manufacturers known for reliable performance. Key considerations include maintenance history, heating element condition, and capacity matching operational requirements. Well-maintained roasters often deliver dependable service across coffee roasting, nut processing, and other food applications, making them sound investments for processors seeking to minimise capital expenditure.
